Bachelor in Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) is an under Graduate programme in Siddha System of Medicine, which is the eldest among the AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) frameworks.

Bachelor in Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) for Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates must have cleared class 12 board examination from any recognised board of education in the stream of science.
2. Candidates must ensure that they have secured 50% in the qualifying exam with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with one language, as per the guidelines of the University or College that would offer the programme.
3. Admissions to the AYUSH courses, which include BSMS also, require a NEET score. Therefore candidates will need to appear for NEET examination for the respective year of admission.
4. The Ministry of AYUSH specifies that passing the entrance test is also required for B.S.M.S. eligibility.
5. The minimum age limit for a Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery is 17 years.
Admission Process
Admissions through NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam is done through NEET Counselling process. Candidates, based on their score or rank will be allotted a college, which will also depend on the availability of seats and choices filled in by the candidate.
